Hi, my name is Jeffrey Nord and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who provides effective psychotherapy to adults and couples in Los Angeles. 

My Training
I received my education and training in the field of psychology at Brown University and the University of Southern California. I graduated with an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from USC while training as a psychotherapist at the respected Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills.  My training and approach to therapy is based on the field of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy with a focus on young adults, couples, addiction, and depression.  I am an active member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT ) and I am certified by the California Board of Behavioral Science to practice psychotherapy.

My Family History 
My family history is full of successful helping professionals that have provided affordable and effective psychological services to many individuals and families in California.  My mother, Susan Nord, is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Santa Monica who specializes in couples and parenting.  My sister, Dr. Jessica Nord, is a UCLA trained psychiatrist who has helped veterans cope with PTSD.
